Make a video essay from a topic.

Give ArCut a topic and it researches it, writes the script and finds the pictures. You edit the film, record the narration in your own voice or pick one, and post it.

From a topic to an upload

  1. 1

    Pick a topic

Type what the video is about, or pick a format such as a tier list.

  2. 2

    ArCut does the reading

It searches the web for the dates, names and quotes your video needs, and keeps the links.

  3. 3

You get a draft you can play

The script, the pictures and the timing are laid out in the editor. Change a scene, a picture or a word.

  4. 4

    Record, render, post

Record the narration or pick a voice, render the video and send it to your channel with chapters and sources in the description.

You do the talking. ArCut builds the video around it.

Read each scene out loud or film yourself. ArCut writes down your words, cuts the retakes and the long pauses and times the pictures to what you say. Rather not record? Pick an AI voice.

Video essays that show where every picture came from.

Every picture or clip made by someone else is credited with a link, and the sources list is written into your YouTube description for you.

Two formats to start from

Essay
A script told in parts. Each part becomes a chapter on YouTube.
Tier list
Items ranked from the top tier to the bottom, one chapter for each.

Arc reads your transcript and timeline, then edits the way a colleague would.

Common questions

Type a topic. ArCut researches it, writes the script and lays out a draft in the editor. You change what you want, record the narration or pick a voice, then render it and send it to your channel.

It writes a first draft and you edit it. The script, the pictures, the voice and every scene are yours to change before you render.

About 1,500 to 1,900, at a narration pace of 150 to 190 words a minute. ArCut writes the script to the length you ask for.

Yes. Read each scene yourself, or film yourself. ArCut cuts the retakes and the long pauses and times the pictures to your words. If you would rather not record, pick an AI voice.

ArCut finds a picture for each scene, and you can swap or add pictures in the editor. Every picture or clip made by someone else gets a credit and a link in the sources list of your YouTube description.

Each paid step shows its price in tokens before you press it, and a step that fails gives its tokens back. Your plan sets how many tokens you get a month: see the plans.

Upload the recording, or import it from a Twitch, Dropbox or Google Drive link. ArCut finds the kills, the clutches and the loud reactions and builds a timeline. You approve each cut, then download the video or send it to your channel.

MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV or WebM. Uploads are resumable, so a dropped connection picks up where it left off instead of starting over.

It is built for gaming recordings first. It reads the HUD, finds kills and round boundaries, and listens for hype moments. Other long footage with speech and action works too, but gaming is where it does best.

Nothing it finds is thrown away. The moments it leaves out of the edit stay with your project, and Arc puts any of them back on the timeline when you ask. There you can shorten a cut or split it anywhere.

Videos live in private cloud storage and only your account can reach them. They are deleted after 7 days on Free and after 90 days on Pro. On Studio they stay until you delete them. When a paid plan ends, its videos stay for 7 more days.

Yes. Connect your channel once, then send a finished video to it with the title, description and privacy you choose. ArCut uploads only when you ask, and you can disconnect it in Settings at any time. Our Privacy Policy explains what it stores.

With tokens. One minute of stream footage costs 6 tokens, and the Free plan includes 300 tokens a month, enough for about 50 minutes. On Free each file can be up to 500 MB. Chats with Arc use tokens too, depending on how much work they take.

Yes. Stripe handles the subscription, and you can cancel from the billing portal whenever you like. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for.
